In the last 8 months I’ve been working in my studio on a new series of large canvases. The series consists of approximately 15 canvases…works in progress. At the same time in this period I’m building a consistent group of works on paper, all new. I don’t know yet if I’m going to burn everything. This is just a little update on my blog after a long time.
Everything I’ve posted until now has been splinters and sparks —small and large sketches, graphic notes, thoughts on paper, studies for my actual work, that most of the time don’t match with the actual final work.
It’s 38 degrees, my wife is working on a new dress pattern in her bikini. This video clip (which was recorded circa 3 months ago) is showing part of the group of canvases that I’m working on.
It’s almost lunchtime. I’m going to eat and I’m ready to go to work in my studio.
